About us

Our mission &
why we exist

Green Naze was born from a simple belief: every Nigerian student deserves the knowledge and tools to protect their environment and lead climate action in their community.

Founded in Naze, Imo State, we deliver a two-year environmental education programme inside secondary schools — covering waste management, tree planting, water conservation and SDG-aligned community projects.

We partner with teachers, environmental scientists and local leaders to build school clubs where students plant, build, experiment and grow into the environmental leaders Nigeria needs.

Community

What we do

Our programmes

Each programme is designed with Nigerian educators to be practical, hands-on, and rooted in local environmental challenges.

01

Environmental Education

A two-year curriculum delivered in secondary schools — covering environmental awareness, waste management, tree planting, climate action and water conservation.

02

SDG Projects & Seed Funding

We help students design community projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, then provide seed funding to bring them to life.

03

Mentorship

We connect students with environmental scientists, climate leaders and local changemakers who guide them through their projects and beyond.

Our Impact

Empowering the next generation of Nigerian environmental leaders

Every workshop, every tree planted and every SDG project brings us closer to a Nigeria where students lead climate action in their own communities.
